Community Building Reimagined
Mission
Tenth House is a community-building organization that creates connection-centered, in-person programming for Black women and LGBTQIA+ folks. We exist to counter the loneliness epidemic and the layered effects of systemic oppression by cultivating spaces grounded in joy, rest, and community. These three pillars guide all of our work.
We see these pillars not just as sources of healing, but as the foundation for lasting social and economic resilience. Our mission is to restore collective well-being by rebuilding access to care, belonging, and financial stability through community infrastructure that sustains Black women and queer folks for the long term.
